• 1 in 10 people in the U.S. will have a seizure in their lifetime; 1 in 26 people will develop epilepsy. 
• Nearly 3 million people in the U.S. have epilepsy, also known as a seizure disorder.
• 60,000 people in Minnesota have epilepsy, which is enough people to fill TCF Bank Stadium.
• Epilepsy is a medical condition that produces seizures. When a person has two or more unprovoked seizures, they have epilepsy.
• Epilepsy is the most common neurological condition in children, and the fourth most common in adults (behind stroke and Alzheimer’s disease).
• Epilepsy is a spectrum of disorders with a range of severities and seizure types.
