The Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota (EFMN) has served the 60,000 people with seizures in our community for over 60 years. Educating, connecting and empowering people affected by seizures, EFMN’s programs and services reach outside of the Twin Cities Metro area.

People all across MN or eastern ND can access educational information, support and connection to others facing similar challenges. Seizures should not stop a child from fulfilling a dream to attend summer camp, or prevent an adult from achieving gainful employment. 

What services are available in the regions EFMN serves?

• Training: EFMN offers FREE seizure training for students, school personnel, teachers, nurses, coaches, workplaces and more! 
• Information & Referral (I&R): Have questions? EFMN’s 24/7 service hotline connects people to educational materials and support organizations across MN and ND. Call 800.779.0777 or info@efmn.org. After business hours, call 800.332.1000. 
• Rise Above Seizures Walk: Celebrate and honor people with epilepsy at our annual Rise Above Seizures Walk! The funds raised support programs and services for the 60,000 people in our community with epilepsy. 
• Family & Connect Events: EFMN organizes monthly connect groups for adults, families, and parents affected by seizures. Join us for a time of conversation, support and resources.
