A FREE workshop for parents and caregivers of children with special needs. Committed to helping community members reach their full potential, the Epilepsy Foundation of Minnesota (EFMN) and Autism Society of Minnesota (AuSM) are partnering to offer this workshop and resources.

Maximizing the Learning Potential: Learn about specific learning disorders and how epilepsy and medications affect learning. Understand how to work with schools to maximize learning potential.

AuSM Presents
Social Safety: Strategies for Navigating Online and Offline: As parents and caregivers, we often are concerned for the physical safety of our children. But, as children advance into elementary and middle school, we find ourselves asking, “How can I keep them safe emotionally?” In this session, learn about the most important issues of social and emotional safety for our pre-teen and teen loved ones. Common problems will be discussed and strategies offered with regard to navigating the hidden curriculum, bullying, and online safety.
