Child care personnel will learn how to recognize the most common types of seizures for children and how to respond to a child having a seizure. They will explore the causes of epilepsy, the most common seizure triggers, and treatment options (including emergency medications). The training will also cover how to know when a seizure is an emergency and how to offer psychological and social support to children with epilepsy.
