Studio E is a multi-week art therapy program for youth/parents and adults (and caregivers if applicable) impacted by epilepsy; groups meet in separate spaces. Participants creatively express themselves each week by journaling and working with a variety of art mediums. Living with epilepsy can be challenging, and art therapy may be beneficial in working through how the condition impacts an individual's life.
Other potential outcomes include: building autonomy, using art as empowerment, developing emotional stability, increasing sense of self and connecting with others. Participants of all talent levels are welcome; whether you are a professional artist or have never held a paint brush. Snacks and refreshments are provided at each session. Also, transportation options may be available upon request.
Ask questions and/or RSVP to Diane at dsenjem@efmn.org or 651.287.2312 by March 22.
The event will be held on the second floor at Adler Graduate School.
